Aristotle used the term ethos to describe credibility and trustworthiness, qualities essential in any advisor. Unfortunately, in today’s insurance industry, these values are often overshadowed by profit-driven motives.
After years of working for large insurance companies, I became disillusioned by the lack of ethics in how policies were sold and clients were treated. I founded Ethos Insurance Agency to change that—to be a true trusted advisor who puts clients first.
The term broker is often thrown around as a marketing tool, much like the word fiduciary, yet rarely lived up to. At Ethos, we take the title seriously. We work for our clients, not the insurance companies.
